Lola has recently graduated from a slow four-legged crawl to standing and cruising. Aided by walls, furniture and any other stable surface she can move at what seems like the speed of light around a room. Her clever little feet now take her almost everywhere.
I took this photo on a whim as she was sitting playing with her brother’s toys in our front yard. The light was just right allowing me to see all the detail of the skin creases on the bottom of her foot. The foreground blur (called the ‘bokeh’) is caused by the use of a relatively narrow aperture, an effect which puts greater emphasis on the areas in focus.
