Photography is as much, if not more, about being observant as it is about knowing how to select the right settings in your camera. These cute little guys were tucked up amongst the leafy ground cover under a shady tree and could easily have been overlooked as they were so tiny. Tim has a great eye and managed to spot them for me. I was able to get a nice ‘bokeh’ (fancy word for background/foreground blur) with my aperture wide open and my camera nearly resting on the ground. What a sight I must have looked almost lying on the ground at the park but I wasn’t going to miss this one.
