Another month, another hospital admission for Oscar. With the change of weather and icy cold nights we’ve been having, his asthma over the last few weeks has been terrible. Last night he coughed so hard and so much that he burst some capillaries under his eyes and today he was really struggling to breathe and needed his ventolin every half hour or so. We took him to emergency and he was put on oxygen and admitted for the sixteenth time. Here we go again.
The new year began with some hot, hot weather. When you’re three what better is there to shake it off than an afternoon swing under the sprinkler?! This was a ‘right place, right time’ kind of shot taken with my trusty 50mm f1.8 lens. The late afternoon sun shining through the water perfectly illuminated the background and helped to silhouette Oscar and the swing. This is one of those special pictures that makes me happy every time I see it.
